The best way to use Stable Diffusion with an old Intel Mac is to run Mochi Diffusion. It will be much slower than an M1 or M2, but it will work. Excellent piece of software! https://github.com/godly-devotion/MochiDiffusion

How to read txt2img data chunk in png files?
I'm more familiar with Automatic1111s webui, which has a PNG info tab that you can use to read the data. You could also use Breadboard for image file management and reading chunk data, plus filtering off said data.
