What's cool about this project is that the array of MAX7219 blocks are not arranged in the usual long line but in a proper rectangle. Github user matdombrock modified his MatrixGL library just for this purpose. https://github.com/matdombrock/MatrixGL/

Google isn't returning anything useful for "7912 display"... did you mean MAX7219? That repo you linked should be able to drive it, as it's using https://github.com/MajicDesigns/MD_MAX72XX
