Any good video player will suffice. Nova Video Player will pull metadata from tmdb etc. if you want and has trakt support if you need it. MX Player should work fine if you just want to browse the content on the drive and play. If you need DTS/AC3 support in MX Player, use this codec pack with it: https://github.com/USBhost/MX_FFmpeg

I downloaded the codec mx_aio.zip from here: https://github.com/USBhost/MX_FFmpeg/releases. But when I tried to set the codec from mx player, it doesn't show the zip file so I can't set it as the custom codec.

I use Kodi with the Jellyfin for Kodi Addon and never have this problem on AndroidTV. I’m surprised you get this issue on a Mac, though. Is that when using a browser or when using Jellyfin Media Player?

I'd give Jellyfin Media Player a try, it supports pretty much all the formats and also supports Jellyscrub and IntroSkipper. It is what I personally use, if you have hardware transcoding is not as big of an issue, but if you don't it either eats up your CPU or is unplayable

On what device/client are you trying to watch it on? Try it on Jellyfin Media Player on your computer. Does it work then? It should direct play.
