Building a music streaming and playing desktop application using Electron & Angular
MEANStream is a full-stack project, music player, and streaming service that I created using the MEAN (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node) Stack and Electron. Similar to Spotify and Soundcloud, songs can be played from anywhere within application. Users can also create accounts that allows them to upload songs and create collections (groups of songs e.g. albums, EPs, etc.). The app is remote, which means that any accounts, songs, and collections that are added will remain on the application for other users to see (unless they are deleted of course). Repo.

The complete source code of this Angular Web application is available on GitHub. The most interesting thing, IMO, is that the server-side source code necessary to deploy this example is zero. You need to start MongoDB, configure RESTHeart and just start writing client-side code.
