I have used Markdown before (https://dillinger.io/) so wouldn't have a problem with using it again as long as on page SEO isn't any extra effort. I am not sure how I would use Markdown and then add the content to the blog to be deployed and if that is going to be much harder than a headless CMS, I would go for the headless.

Currently I use "@scenejs/render" (https://github.com/daybrush/scenejs-render) to record a web animation and generate an mp4 programatically. Meaning that the recording occurs in the background. "@scenejs/render" uses ffmpeg and puppeteer. This is working ok but the problem is I have no way to tell "@scenejs/render" when to start and end and I had top hack it a bit to serve my purpose.
