Lightly VS breeze-alphablack

I'm using Artix Linux with KDE Plasma, trying to install a theme named "Red pastel", which requires lightly to work. I've installed lightly, installed red pastel, and my dolphin seems to not react to red pastel properly: folder icons arent red, half of dolphin is not red. The ones I know of are: Aurorae (built-in one), Kvantum (https://github.com/tsujan/Kvantum/tree/master/Kvantum) and Lightly (just a theme https://github.com/Luwx/Lightly). store.kde.org is down (at least I can't access it at the moment), so I've shared github links.

To have something decent you can use lightly

It appears as if lightly has not been updated in quite some time, with lingering PRs.

The plasma theme has a slight transparency. In windows and applications it depends on the style of applications you use, the kvantum theme has transparency, the color-schemes for the breeze style do not have transparency. In the screenshot I am using Lightly and I added transparency to the color-schemes.

My KDE version is 5.24.4 I've installed Lightly from github. Tried different combinations and then installed manually. But none of the methods work. When I try to choose Lightly from System Settings I got error.

The panel's appearance is controlled by your theme's SVGs. You will have to modify them to get the panel to change color. To make it easier, there is the Breeze AlphaBlack theme, which offers readymade command-line tools to change its panel color and transparency: https://github.com/Zren/breeze-alphablack.

Breeze AlphaBlack (https://store.kde.org/p/1084931/) automatically installs a widget which can modify the theme to change the tasks.svg move the line to the edge of the screen.

Have you looked into breeze-alphablack.

My best alternative so far has been using Lightly to remove the details that I find unnecessary in Breeze such as borders on almost every element. I also use Breeze AlphaBlack to be able to easily change the taskbar colors.

I use pywall basically to update the system colors and use Breeze Alphablack to change the theme colors dynamically.

Some themes like Breeze AlphaBlack have easily-configurable colours and transparency.
