Flask-Mail shouldn't be used ( at least right now )
The recommendation I can give as a replacement would be https://github.com/Lvl4Sword/LockMsg/blob/main/LockMsg.py#L386 as well as https://github.com/Lvl4Sword/LockMsg/blob/main/LockMsg.py#L421 -- There's a few variables/imports used for Jinja support.
