    Now if your obscure hardware isn't compatible with Linux that's an exception and not a general thing, also some features you mentioned like Netflix 4k isn't a big deal since 720p looks pretty well and loads faster, and that Discord thing can be easily solvable and there is something called webcord, or just simply use the web app. That Discord app is a really bad software it uses an outdated Electron/ Chromium fork (it's a unsafe software, like Win7).
