Works pretty good no issues. I recommend the 60fps Patch just a simple DLL file that goes into the main L.A Noire folder

Yep, this comment in particular is exactly how it's setup on my Steam Deck, and it works like a charm. I would be sure to read over the README for LANVP as it describes the few scenarios where running at 60fps causes problems- driving is a bit different, and some of the pencil-rubbing puzzles didn't work for me at 60fps. Much, much better than the old 60fps patches though!

Yes, it plays quite nicely. I use the V-Patch to play at 60fps and it looks and runs pretty excellently.

In LA Noire, gaming journalist Dan Ryckert has a cameo as a news journalist. He even talks to Cole Phelps, the protagonist of the game.
I'm playing on PC yeah, the Steam version, the only "unplayable" part is that the FPS is capped at 30, but there's a file you can use to unlock the FPS

Absolutely worth the buy! Only issue with 60 FPS mod is in some situations it messes up details of facial expressions in the game but if you even notice it it’s still pretty worth the install. For people who wanna know how I did this I used GE-Proton7-14 and protontricks discover store and https://github.com/VaanaCZ/LANVP to get 60 fps and directx 9 in the file 11 wouldn't work the game was the steam version btw
