Discovery annoying appstream popup?
I think it may be because I had built Komikku from source a while ago, as well as had installations from the native package manager (in my case, pacman), and from flatpak. I bet some appstream data got left around somewhere, and appstream doesn't know how to handle it anymore. I've tried appstreamcli refresh --force, but that didn't do anything. I uninstalled/reinstalled Discovery and nothing changed. I reinstalled appstream (though I can't uninstall it before reinstalling because plasma-workspace depends on both it and appstream-qt), no difference.

I downloaded CDisplayEX (Paid) on Mobilisim and scanned it through Virustotal. Is this a false positive?
does anyone recommend an alternative app for a comic reader? you can try OpenComic or NeeView if none of them satisfy your needs you can visit Alternativeto.net for alternatives

Manga reader than can read pages vertically for pc
I use opencomic, it has pretty clean UI, can customize scroll direction, double page view, etc. Plus it has what I haven't seen in any other reader - anilist sync built in.

An Offline Long Strip Comic Reader For Pc
Wanted to try opening the big file again today but keeps showing me a blank program even after reinstalling, tried to search for a solution and found out that the images extracted are stored in local App data. I checked immediately and sure enough, there were the jpeg images that I compressed into cbr files. https://github.com/ollm/OpenComic/issues/62 And I still don't know how to fix this blank app now (literally just a white window). Debating if I need to restart my laptop since this never happened yesterday.
