Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Entry Way for becoming a PCB Designer
There are some really good plugins for KiCAD. For example, I use this BOM visualizer for the PCBA process.

Free Moving Parts in KiCAD
including (or excluding! they can be useful, but are less so when populating with ibom(honestly forgot this wasn't part of kicad. defo use this), can be rather cluttered, and there's just something sexy professional about leaving them off imo) reference designators.

Anyway to automatically move F.Fab info to be aligned with F.silk in pcbnew?
Check this out! It’s not quite what you’re asking for but I bet it’ll solve your problem

Thank you very much for the feedback! I indeed had this project in mind while doing it https://github.com/openscopeproject/InteractiveHtmlBom

Kicad Visual Revision Inspector
This is awesome! I have been wanting to build something like this for ages. Could the processing be done using a Gitlab / GitHub pipeline and and then host the results as a static site? This is what I do now with interactive HTML bom and it's a really nice workflow. Just commit and everything is generated.

¿What font does KiCad use?
If you want to use custom fonts for labels in KiCad, you can install the KiBuzzard plugin.

How I built a PATCHABLE ANALOG SYNTH from scratch
Great project and I always respect anyone publishing their work open-source! Take a look at KiBuzzard, it's a plugin for KiCAD that allows you to insert text with a custom font within the pcb editor. The default kicad font is great for pcb layouts, but not the most pleasing to look at. I use KiBuzzard with the font Roboto for my frontpanel designs.

Method to encode ascii/unicode symbol code in silk text?
If you use the KiBuzzard plugin (which I think can just be added from the plugin manager now), you can use any symbol from any font you want, at the expense of a little more complexity. Usually easier than manually converting an image yourself though.

Better Boost Converter Design. This time with fewer vias and silkscreen. [Critique Request]
OP here. I added (read removed) excess vias from the previous design (See previous post .) This time, the ground plane connecting the decoupling capacitors on the battery charger and boost converter lie on one uninterrupted ground pour. Also, the board which was previously 2 layer board, has been converted to a 4 layer design. The second, third, and fourth layer have uninterrupted single ground pours, while the first layer has two, one connecting the decoupling capacitors of the battery charger and boost converter. Also, I caved in and added inverted silkscreen using KiBuzzard .

Looking for more KiCad 6.0 plugins
I recently started using KiBuzzard which lets you easily create inverted silkscreen labels.

silkscreen (labels are functional, but can also be beautiful! kibuzzard is nice but can't go wrong with stock text),
