The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

HOW TO spawn new nodes in the node editor
The showcase shows two apps with node editors: Heron and Interactive Assembly Line Balancer. The latter uses an older version of DPG that is not compatible with the latest version of DPG. I think that the node editor specific code should compatible still. In the latest version of DPG, you should use `tag` instead of `id`.

KNIME like GUI with Python
DPG offers all the tools, but you will have to handle the node data in the Python code. Here is an example that was made with an older version (0.6), so it’s useful to get ideas, but notnsuitable for copying and pasting the code in the current version of Dear PyGui (version 1.x). https://github.com/RahulShagri/Interactive-Assembly-Line-Balancer
- I finally found an interesting project to code, but don't know where to start.

UI Framework for Darts Application
Dear PyGui is a lightweight GUI framework that has a look of its own that I'd consider fairly modern. For example, see https://github.com/RahulShagri/Interactive-Assembly-Line-Balancer

Tool for creating graphs with using graphical user interface?
A different approach might be with a different kind of nodes. You can create your own overview of nodes programmatically with a GUI library called Dear PyGui.

Sync buildings with blueprint
You are right, there are some problems😅 I got the idea from this program I know this has nothing to do with Factorio but I see some connection: in this program you are making electrical chips. Each chip has its inputs and outputs and then you can use the chip you make in other chips to make more complicated ones. It's kinda similar to factorio blueprints, they too, have inputs and outputs, and (theoretically with this mod idea) you can put them together. But again this is just an idea, but I still think I'll give it a try ;)

More recently, Sebastian Lague has revived a video series on digital circuits [1] and the software featured in the series is made available [2] with a full source code.
