- I set up Home Assistant to notify my roommate and I in the morning when we need to check our apartment building's mailroom in the evening. Saves us a lot of hassle!

There's a Restriction custom card that you can use with pretty much any other card type. It can block people from being able to change values. It's not the most elegant solution but it is functional.
