How do I "deliver" the portfolio website my client asked for?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/webdev | 5 Nov 2021
Yeah if the client wants to update the site you need a CMS. Since you are already on Netlify they have a CMS for static sites that is pretty good: https://www.netlifycms.org/

Using Netlify CMS to manage my blog posts
4 projects | dev.to | 9 Sep 2021
Writing my first post about styled-components on this blog directly in Markdown, made me want so hard an editor or something to manage the file posts without having to worry about .md syntax and etc. So I found Netlify CMS with this incredibly support to Gatsby!
I turned the Next.js - Netlify CMS blog template into a professional Concert Website editor
3 projects | reddit.com/r/nextjs | 2 Sep 2021
There is an authenticated /admin page, where everything can be managed as in a classic CMS with forms. You configure the fields in a .yml file (see mine here). The CMS interface is really user friendly for non-developers, see its introduction on the official Netlify website! https://www.netlifycms.org/
Need to add a back-end system to a template site
1 project | reddit.com/r/HTML | 24 Aug 2021
I am going to list this as separate because it is fairly unique. www.netlifycms.org is free, it saves the data as a file directly to the GitHub repo. On save the GitHub repo can trigger a build and update the site. The entire thing can be implemented on the front-end. If you couple this with Next, Nuxt or some other static site builder the website will be fast and can be hosted very cheap.
What is the best and cheapest way to get started blogging with a custom domain?
1 project | reddit.com/r/Blogging | 19 Aug 2021
I use a Gatsby blog site, there's plenty of blog templates you can look at. Netlify also have their own CMS for blogging if you want to look at that as well.
