Reminder for PC players: There is a safe, easy, and effective tool called Totsugeki that will cut the time it takes to "communicate with the server" to about 30-40 seconds.
I made this: https://github.com/Hucaru/GGST-hook which achieves the same result as totsugeki but in a different manner and runs as part of the client so you can start the game normally. It's also resilient to game updates (unless they change how networking works).
