Framework-13-Vanilla-Reconstruction
The intention is to reconstruct every physical part of the Framework laptop, so that this repo can be used as a resource to begin mods from. It forks from Framework's Mainboard and ExpansionCards repos. (by Captain-Pumpkinhead)
anno1800-mod-loader

Is there any downside to me just removing the captive screws altogether?
I open up my Framework often enough that I'm considering just removing the captive screws. (I open it for taking measurements, mostly) On most laptops, this would be a problem, but Framework has those magnets keeping the Input Cover in place. I've forgotten to tighten the screws before taking the laptop to school/work, and I haven't had any issues when that's happened. But there's always the possibility that I'm missing/forgetting something.

Convertible hinge mod?
I've been working on a 3D model of the Framework 13 so that myself and others could use it for a base when developing mods. You're welcome to contribute if you'd like, or to use it to make your own mod.

Introducing the Framework Laptop 16 and both Intel and AMD-powered Framework Laptop 13
No reason you couldn't mod the chassis yourself. Matter of fact, I'd love to help you do that. I've got a GitHub repository where I'm trying to reconstruct the Framework 13.5" chassis in FreeCAD. After we have that, it would be trivial to print a taller bottom chassis so that we could make the new modules fit.

Anno 1800 Mods Folder
For the mod loader, I use this one https://github.com/xforce/anno1800-mod-loader/releases. It's required in some of the mods I use. I do not recommend the mod loaders on Nexus. One is outdated, and the other comes with an immense amount of virus warnings. It also began causing my game to crash which required me to reinstall the game. For the mods folder, you create one. The folder should be named 'mods' all lowercase. I bought my game on Steam, so I have the mods folder with the main game files.
- Cannot load mods in Anno 1800, have followed steps from every tutorial I can find...

Politics and intrigue.
Also, on the topic of mods, look at the github repo for it. Security reporting is disabled: https://github.com/xforce/anno1800-mod-loader/security

Mods
This is the modloader (two files that will enable mods) and if you click the README it will bring you to the installation guide for the modloader and the mods (basically just where to put the files, there is no actual installation process).

Multiplayer Modloader Issues between Ubisoft and Steam users Errorcode LR[01]
You said you tried different modloaders but to be sure did you try the original modloader (it's just two .dll files that you have to copy in anno's directory) without any mods at all? (to avoid issues with custom modmanagers) If it works then try adding the mod, of course be sure it's the latest version.
- Can someone help me with modding
-
Any step by step videos on how to install the mod a mangers?
You need the two .dll files found here: https://github.com/xforce/anno1800-mod-loader/releases/download/v0.9.4/loader.zip

My capital, Revachol. No mod. Still far from finish but I'm gonna start picking up mods from now on. Enjoy.
You download a Modloader here. Then go to Nexus and find mods you like, download and unpack them to the game's directory. That's about it. It's a very mod-friendly game as far as I know.
