Replace broken image links?
I had moved all of my stuff to an S3 share to save space on my server. Which broke all of my links in the game. So I wrote a script for 7.x and after providing a directory and type of item, you get a search and replace box. It replaces anything in the first box with the text from the second. It will basically do what you are asking for in seconds, but I have NOT looked into the changes in 8.x and if you have an 8.x server you will need to get helkp rewriting / updating my script. If you do let me know. you can find it here... https://github.com/jbowensii/FoundryVTT-relink-images-script

How to migrate media to s3?
So a few weeks ago I asked for some help in the foundry macro-polo forum. I had made a huge mistake and placed all of my image asset files in the world directory. Though they were organized into a neat directory structure it meant I could not ever get rid of the world not share the files with another world. Manually moving the files was not a problem in the OS but relinking 3000+ images would have been a nightmare. I want to thank everyone for the help especially FREEZE! FREEZE went way above and beyond ... anyway I have now created a shared content module and successfully moved and relinked everything. I am happy to get feedback on my script (code review) please. https://github.com/jbowensii/FoundryVTT-relink-images-script.git (Use at your own risk) ... polite feedback and optimization are most welcome. Happy new year and trhank you...

fvttmv: A "mv"-like tool for FoundryVTT -- Update: Added glob/wildcard support on Windows and support for shared compendium modules
Sadly, that won't work. It still expects a valid file path, not an url. You could have a look at https://github.com/nathan-sain/foundry-world-tools, which seems to be quite versatile. Although from reading the README I don't think this will solve you problem either.
