Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

CANbus messages between Teensy 4.1's
Yes, I did this a while ago and it worked fine. I used a different transceiver (don't remember which one), but same FlexCAN_T4 library you're using. I got one Teensy to talk to another, and also received CAN messages from an automotive ECU that agreed with the logs from Vector Canalyzer. I slightly modified the mailbox_filtering_example_with_interrupts.ino script.

Porting Teensy 3.6 .ino script to a Teensy 4.0?
Based on this compatibility discussion, it sounds like this isn't as straightforward an issue as I'd hoped:
-
Teensy 4.1 loop speed
No need to use millis, it skips interrupts so is not 100% accurate. You can count actual Processor cycles with the ARM cycle counter. https://github.com/TeensyUser/doc/wiki/Using-the-cycle-counter
