Has anyone looked into a self hosted version of fitness tracking? I was using Sporttracks program which is now unsupported (so much for paying for lifetime support in that one) and I do not like having my workouts sited on someone else’s server.
Still under development but the most promising project I have seen: https://github.com/SamR1/FitTrackee

Open Source Fitness Tracker w/ Self Hosted Fitness Metrics Dashes
Not sure of the status of the project, but I’ve set up https://github.com/danielalvsaaker/tf-viewer and it worked ok. Lots of features missing and for awhile it appeared the dev stopped working on it, and now looks like he is rewriting it.

What self-hosted alternative of Strava/Endomondo/... would you recommend?
With a config.toml file that had the default example code I would just get the last line: Running at 127.0.0.1:8080.

Is there a self-hosted dashboard for Garmin Vivoactive 3 activities?
Hi, I am the developer behind tf-viewer (name will probably change). Supports your binary .FIT-files. It does not support sleep data as of now, but it can be a simple task to implement. If you provide me some files with sleep data (or other data), I can take a look at them.
What are some alternatives?

ryot - Roll your own tracker!
gopro2gpx - Parse the gpmd stream for GOPRO moov track (MP4) and extract the GPS info into a GPX (and kml) file.
quantified-self - Compare files from various activity trackers
wger - Self hosted FLOSS fitness/workout, nutrition and weight tracker
pyft - Self-hosted fitness activity tracker written in Python (early WIP)
strava-offline - Keep a local mirror of Strava activities for further analysis/processing
ActivityLog2 - Analyze data from swim, bike and run activities
obsidian-diy-sync - Obsidian.md plugin + expressjs server for syncing and publishing markdown content
spacedeck-open - Spacedeck, a web based, real time, collaborative whiteboard application with rich media support
OctoPrint-GPX - An OctoPrint plug-in to use GPX as the protocol layer underneath rather than replacing g-code to talk to s3g/x3g machines, for example, a FlashForge.
gpxpy - gpx-py is a python GPX parser. GPX (GPS eXchange Format) is an XML based file format for GPS tracks.
