Securely home-host mc server behind proxy
If you run "offline" servers that allow cracked clients to connect, I highly recommend using the plugins AuthMeReloaded and FastLogin. For BungeeCord and its forks you'll also need AuthMeBungee and setup FastLogin for Bungee, or for Velocity use AuthMeVelocity and Velocity-Fast-Login.

Any good login plugin for Velocity?
Auto-login players with legitimate minecraft Mojang Resolver is used by FastLogin and PremiumConnector in order to check if a player has a cracked or legit account.

Use online UUIDs and skins for legit minecraft accounts This feature is part of FastLogin and PremiumConnector and also part of SimpleAuth (fabric and forge mod). I'm not sure about this, but there might be a way to forward the player's UUID and skin to a Fabric or a Forge server that's behind Velocity (which is a feature I would greatly appreciate as not even SkinsRestorer supports forwarding this to fabric). Again, CraftAPI (the library that Mojang Resolver is part of) could be very useful when it comes to implementing this.

SimpleAuth alternative?
SimpleAuth was a brilliant fabric mod used to make a server that allows premium users to log in as they normally would, and non-premium users to log in in-server with a password they set up. Sadly, it has recently been deprecated, and with 1.17 coming up very soon I'd like to know if anyone knows of any alternatives compatible with fabric.
