Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Code format question
In the previously linked version comparing colorCurrent.h == colorTarget.h or colorCurrent == colorTarget without the .h worked the same since the colors were fully saturated and at full brightness. Comparing colorCurrent == colorTarget compares the H,S, and V numbers all at the same time.

what the work of EVERY_N_MILLISECONDS_I ?
Use the first one for regular unchanging intervals. Use the second one when you need the interval to change over time. Here's one of Marmilicious' examples.
- Blinking stars
- stretching and then compressing a rainbow on a strip

Controlling WLED-ESP with another Arduino
Depending on the complexity of the animations you want, you could power them through the Arduino directly with a library like FastLED. https://github.com/marmilicious/FastLED_examples/blob/master/MIDI_test_v1.ino is an example.
- changing brightness of the individual led's?
- hopefully, last time asking for help...
- help again
- Addressing multiple individual Leds at once

LED METAR Map Coding Help
Good evening all, I recently completed an LED METAR map inspired by this project I came across: https://github.com/WKHarmon/led-sectional . This guy did a great job providing great code for my map started and its perfect so far. Im seeking help with adding to the code however, here is the link to the code that I have: https://pastebin.com/xht5BrMw . I need some help making the yellow lights slowly fade to black when it is windy. Currently, the map shows just them as solid yellow if there is high winds at the airport, and I wanted to see if there is way to make them fade from yellow to black, then back to yellow. Currently, there is functionality that if an airport is reporting lightning in the area, the map LEDs will blink white, I just have no coding experience to try and duplicate the feat with the wind. Any help or resources so that I can try this windy functionality would be greatly appreciated.
- First Raspberry Pi Project.. I've wanted one of these awesome METAR maps since I saw one about a year ago and made one for a fraction of the price of buying one!
- I created a live airport weather map as my Chromecast background with Python and a RaspberryPi!
What are some alternatives?
