How is logic programmed in video game randomizers?
Some good answers already, but in case anyone is curious about all the details, a lot of popular randomizers are open source so you can just go look at how they work yourself: OoT - https://github.com/TestRunnerSRL/OoT-Randomizer SM - https://github.com/tewtal/itemrandomizerweb MM2 - https://github.com/duckfist/MM2Random FF1 - https://github.com/FiendsOfTheElements/FF1Randomizer

Trying to randomize Pokémon Colosseum on Steam Deck
I’m trying to get this Randomizerprogram to run on the Deck, but it doesn’t seem to run the .exe even through Bottles or Wine, and randomizing it on Windows and moving it over doesn’t seem to run the game at all, and I’m not finding a browser based Randomizer program like for OoT. I’m clueless when it comes to doing anything on Linux so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm trying to run this for XD randomizer but anytime I click randomize Pokemon or select "random shadow Pokemon" from the drop text I get this error and I can't close the window forcing me to close the application and game.
You're using an old one, personally I never had much success with it. Try this one https://github.com/rotobash/pokemon-ngc-rando
