Tech modpack for old players?
I've done some research and these modpacks seem to (mostly) be what I'm looking for: Stoneblock 2 and Enigmatica 2: Expert - E2E.

Hexxit Updated was Outdated - Modpack Elimination Game Round 20
The one thing that I absolutely take issue with is that Enigmatica packs are objectively high effort and have been polished and improved over a huge amount of time - you can go look at the GitHub pages for each of them and see just how many commits there are and when they were made. For E2E, there are nearly 1k commits over five years - (https://github.com/EnigmaticaModpacks/Enigmatica2Expert/commits/master) - that's far more than most packs. Enigmatica 6 has over 10,000 commits (https://github.com/EnigmaticaModpacks/Enigmatica6/commits/master), which is the most I've seen in any modpack so far (and here I was proud of my ~1.3k in Valhelsia 3).

Cannot Launch or Repair Instance from CurseForge
E2E's MemoryTester config recommends 6144 MiB by default, so something was definitely broken.

Looking for a kitchen sink pack with lots of progression
Enigmatica 2: Expert or Enigmatica 2: Expert Skyblock are your best bet. These have really well-designed gating and progression, but they are expert packs, meaning that they’re a lot more difficult than your average modpack. However, they’re also a lot more forgiving than a lot of other expert packs, such as Nomnifactory or GTNH.

[GTNH] - Gelatin Mixture... what could I possibly be doing wrong?
When you try to hook up any other machine, do they also not work? If so then this is might be this very annoying bug. In that case, relog if you're in SP or try to unload and load back in your whole base if you're on a server (or wait for a restart).

How to do a Progression modpack right
A better list is the table at the bottom of the readme on the github page: https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/GT-New-Horizons-Modpack
- How many mods are there in GTNH?

Playing on GTNH 2.3 and ore vein markers appeared in wrong lace twice (red circle is actual location and green arrow show were marker was put). What might cause this and how to fix
It looks similar to this issue. Ore veins generally spawn 3 chunks apart, but certain vein types including Magnetite can have radius of up to 3 chunks. If they roll high enough they can appear to extend into the neighboring veins.
- Question about GTNH, got no answer in the FFA thread but maybe someone who sees this can help?
-
[GT:NH] Is it worth to start over and play in the official servers?
It's an official server jar, yeah. Also looked around for a bit and found this github issue, which is fairly fresh. So it could be a new issue.

How can GT New Horizon have a more uptodate version than accessible online ?
