Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Replacing Rotary Encoder Quadrature with Accelerometer
Anyway, found my answer. That was all. Enjoy yalls place here, un-subbed. https://github.com/luni64/EncSim

Encoder simulation
I’m looking around for a way to simulate rotary quadrature encoders but haven’t found anything yet. I have found some for (teensy)[https://github.com/luni64/EncSim] and some for (arduino)[https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=383189.0] but nothing that allows me to simulate encoders using atmel hardware (I only have atmega328 and 32u4 available) with adjustable timings and most importantly, bounces on the encoders.

Kicad to JLCPCB or similar (first project)
Hi! I found a project https://github.com/zueblin/Polaron that to me seems like the perfect start for ordering a PCB and getting some of the SMDs soldered from them. I have imported it to Kikad and tried to export the BOM and placement file and importing it in JLCPCB but it just says there is something wrong with the files. The PCB seems to be fine btw.

How do I get started?
If you are into Drum Machines I can really recommend the Polaron: https://github.com/zueblin/Polaron
What are some alternatives?
When comparing EncSim and Polaron you can also consider the following projects:
SimpleRotary - SimpleRotary is a Arduino library for using basic bare-bones type rotary encoders. Usually these are the cheap ones without the breakout board. - Getting rotary encoder rotation direction. - Getting rotary select button press. - Getting rotary select button long press. - Getting rotary select button press time. - Basic debouncing of rotary / button. - Basic error correcting of out-of-sync rotational readings. - Use of both high and low triggers.
seq66 - Seq66: Seq24-based live MIDI looper/editor. v. 0.99.12 2024-01-13. NSM support; Linux/Windows/FreeBSD; PDF user manual. Help access to tutorial and PDF. Beta code in portfix branch.
