Using Emotibit in Psychological experiment with OpenSesame
We often use our very simple python based EmotiBit DataViewer script written to view the parsed EmotiBit data https://github.com/EmotiBit/EmotiBit_Biometric_Lib, but you could also easily use Excel or anything else as the parsed data are in a simple CSV format.

Help me with update firmware using Arduino IDE(fatal error: Filters.h: No such file or directory)
We seem to have missed to add this new dependency to the automatic download list. I have created an issue to track this and we will fix it in the next release.

Why do my heart rate numbers sometimes seem incorrect?
If you find a handy algorithm, please post it in the EmotiBit forum, and if you modify the EmotiBit HR algorithm and wish to share it with the community, please submit a pull request in the EmotiBit FeatherWing or EmotiBit MAX30101 repositories on github.

Why can I not see my heart rate in EmotiBit Oscilloscope?
Heart rate(among other derivative metrics like beat interval, Skin Conductance metrics etc.) was added to EmotiBit as a part of the firmware update v1.3.33. Your EmotiBit must be running FW v1.3.33+ to be able to record heart rate!

Start/stop recording by button
You may, however, tweak the code(FW) to initiate a record session from the device without software intervening in the middle. Since we have focussed on time-syncs(as mentioned in the FAQ), we don't yet have an example to help you out with this.
