Whats your preferred way to create a typed C# client from an api via swagger or controller routes? The ways i've been trying have been creating sub par clients
Another vote for NSwag. I used to generate AutoRest but they were just too slow to release new versions with support for OpenAPI and more. So, I switched over to NSwag and haven't looked back. As additional input to all of the other NSwag comments here, I would recommend saving the settings like done here: https://github.com/elmahio/Elmah.Io.Client/blob/main/nswag.nswag. And for the generation you can use the studio, but I actually prefer the CLI:

Find anomalies with spike detection and ML.NET
I recently started experimenting with machine learning on elmah.io. I chose ML.NET as the framework and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. The amount of documentation is good but mostly limited to flower detection samples (using the frequently used Iris data set). In this post, I'll share how we implemented anomaly/spike detection and which problems we ran into.
