elmah.io VS Serilog

Elmah is a logging platform for .NET applications with support for other logging frameworks. It allows developers to log errors and other information to a central dashboard for easy monitoring.

elmah.io has support for all log severities (like debug and information). If you are planning to send millions of those message types, it might not be the right solution, though.

There are some popular third-party logging providers such as Serilog, Log4Net, NLog, elmah.io

Everything is done in less than 30 minutes and ready to go to production. Here's an example of a log message stored in elmah.io:

I recently started experimenting with machine learning on elmah.io. I chose ML.NET as the framework and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. The amount of documentation is good but mostly limited to flower detection samples (using the frequently used Iris data set). In this post, I'll share how we implemented anomaly/spike detection and which problems we ran into.

These projects use dependency injection for connections and have no logging although they are ready to log to the console via SeriLog setup in Program.cs.

The idea was to log the HTTPRequestId, ClientIp, and automagically log the details of every exception thrown (without having to do _logger.LogError(...)). However I don't see those details in the logs. In Program.cs: ``` var logger = new LoggerConfiguration() .ReadFrom.Configuration(builder.Configuration) .Enrich.FromLogContext() .CreateLogger();

You could also write a custom destructuring policy, assuming it's a flurl-specific public exception type and you only need certain properties of it. You'd implement IDestructuringPolicy and then add it to the configuration:

I've cloned https://github.com/serilog/serilog and I'm not sure what's going on with the multitargetting in the tests? Does this (below) mean, if the dev's OS is windows, then target framework 462 or 471? What should I do on my laptop, which only has the net6 and fw48 sdk installed?
