Electron-Cash VS bitcoincash.org

There are a bunch of BCH folks who use Satochip hw wallets. Electron Cash actually advertises them at the bottom of their homepage (https://electroncash.org/). You can also see that Electron Cash devs worked on the integration here: https://github.com/Electron-Cash/Electron-Cash/pull/2409

After an exhausting flurry of coding and many commits, Andrew-128 and I are done with all of the proposed features for the Electron Cash "CashTokens" implementation.

In the meantime you can run 4.2.14 which has it fixed by downloading it off the github release page for Electron Cash here: https://github.com/Electron-Cash/Electron-Cash/releases/tag/4.2.14

Both BTC and BCH implement the Bech32 address format to avoid such confusion. For BTC Segwit transactions, the prefix is 'bc1:". The Bitcoin Cash "cashaddr" formathas a prefix of: "bitcoincash:".

As you can read here in the proposal for the cashaddress format, the prefix "bitcoincash:" is intended to be a part of the new cashaddress format when used in a QR code.

Read the BCH spec and see what it credits. The "schnorr" used by Bitcoin (and the version copied into BCH) has is only similar to schnorr's signatures in that it has the same algebraic properties. It's different and not compatible with anything schnorr produced.

Adaptive Blocksize

If you did send BCH to a segwit BTC addresss, there was a period of time when this was unrecoverable due to the cleanstack rule. However, this has since been fixed, and it is possible to recover these funds: https://github.com/bitcoincashorg/bitcoincash.org/blob/master/spec/2019-05-15-upgrade.md
