Is there a way to do generative design in FreeCAD?
I noticed a while back that projects like this exist. It looks like the creator is trying to integrate the Dynamo graphical scripting environment that AutoDesk uses into FreeCAD. It seems like that would be most of what you're talking about.

File organization question
There is an issue on the A2Plus github page about import not completing (diffuse color). The recommendation is to download the latest version.
