Improved Organization fail - can I get the items back?
I found a fix, but it's very technical. You need the Savegame Editor to edit some savegame values: https://github.com/NovFR/DoS-2-Savegame-Editor.

How to use the same game editor to add an item?
Apparently I seem to have misplaced the Archivist's journal without reading it, and now I can't advance the respective quests. I found a save game editor (https://github.com/NovFR/DoS-2-Savegame-Editor), but I'm unsure how to add it, because the readme does not cover it.

I can't finish the Deathfog Rising quest (bug)
Has anyone experienced this and found a way to fix it? I'm running with no mods and on definitive edition btw. I tried to find a way to cheat the quest, but this savegame editor doesn't support editing quest progression. Also I couldn't find a mod that would be of any help.

Trying to restore Devourer's Gauntlets via DOS2 Save Editor
Here is the save editor I have used before. I recommend making two saves, name one something like Edit Me, and only ever open that one in the editor.

What would be a good short activity that would impress people and get them excited about programming?
I don't know which games are popular rn, but you'll need a game that you can manipulate easily of course. Most RPGs have a rather easy save game structure to understand. I played around with secrets of grindea for example.

My first coding project has now a dogecoin QR code
Its a programto edit the savegame from secrets of grindea.
- I made a tool to edit your savegame [Secrets Of Grindea: Savegame Reader]

You can also easily look up each item individually to examine its attributes, independently of a savegame, or get other useful information that are not related to a specific savegame (but enhanced if one is loaded).
