Whelp, found this add on for the script extender.

I use the savegame editor to change colors and never really experience this issue - so if you're looking for an alternative, you can give it a shot

I found a fix, but it's very technical. You need the Savegame Editor to edit some savegame values: https://github.com/NovFR/DoS-2-Savegame-Editor.

Apparently I seem to have misplaced the Archivist's journal without reading it, and now I can't advance the respective quests. I found a save game editor (https://github.com/NovFR/DoS-2-Savegame-Editor), but I'm unsure how to add it, because the readme does not cover it.

Has anyone experienced this and found a way to fix it? I'm running with no mods and on definitive edition btw. I tried to find a way to cheat the quest, but this savegame editor doesn't support editing quest progression. Also I couldn't find a mod that would be of any help.

Here is the save editor I have used before. I recommend making two saves, name one something like Edit Me, and only ever open that one in the editor.

But I get my patterns and have found a lot of good path patterns on the ACNHPatternDesignEditor online Database.

As for patterns use this app on pc https://github.com/FluffyFishGames/ACNHDesignPatternEditor/releases This will use the same internet you switch goes though and adds the designs to your save. (note. use NHSE and ACNHDesignPatternEditor on your pc and Local on your SD) These is what i got right now. I am still experimenting with this.

But if you’re able to connect your save file to a computer, the bedsheet, ouija board and radioactive symbol designs were taken from the ACNH Design Pattern Editor’s online portal, if that helps.

I use ACNH Design Pattern Editor. Works similar to a save editor, just import you save and then it emulates a connection to the Nintendo network and then you can import the codes, etc for the custom designs.
