Best software to start programming glitchy visuals for my music?
Glitchy visuals wise data moshing is one of the more classic methods, you can see it in a lot of trippy tv shows. Basically intentionally corrupting video data to create glitchy artifacts or merge multiple videos in weird ways. You can do it manually in certain video editors but it's a pain, there are some programs that make it easier like this: https://github.com/Akascape/Datamosher-Pro

Made an animation for fun, looking for feedback!
Mostly it's just some cubes, two flat planes, camera shakify addon, basic keyframed camera movement, and some decent textures. And lastly, NTSCQT on github for the vhs look.

Datamosher-Pro x NTSCQT
First I downloaded this footage from pexels. Then I moshed the file with the shuffle mode of Datamosher-Pro (Datamoshing software). Then I used NTSCQT (A VHS simulator) to give that retro VHS look.

performance - an attempt at 2d(ish) animation. after working on it for about a week, i'm really proud of how it turned out.
this was made almost entirely inside blender, except for textures and the ntscQT VHS effect. it was mainly inspired by The Walten Files, alongside I Feel Fantastic (specifically the weird out-of-context shots). it was tedious to animate not only the limbs -- but also going frame-by-frame to animate the mouth, when i only had a limited set of mouth shapes.

i found a new analog horror seres, "The Epsilon Tapes"
The story is interesting, but i have two comments - Use 4:3. 16:9 ruins the immersion. - Avoid using "VHS presets" from whatever software you're using, edit your video clean and process the exported work through NTSCqt (https://github.com/JargeZ/ntscqt)

Testing out vhs effects for a video I'm working on with a new program that was recommended to me. Looks pretty neato.
