Designing a custom colour scheme for GNOME Text Editor
The way I do it, I download a theme and edit the colours afterwards to match my GNOME system theme. You can download Dracula or Nord and then customize the colours.

Gnome Builder does not detect GTKSourceView themes automatically
I have copied a Nord theme file (https://github.com/arcticicestudio/nord-gedit) to /usr/share/gtksourceview-2.0/styles, /usr/share/gtksourceview-3.0/styles, /usr/share/gtksourceview-4/styles, because the built-in color schemes of Builder are a nightmare to look at. Gedit instantly detected the new theme and works flawlessly there, but Builder does not. I tried rebooting, logging in and logging out, reinstalling Builder, but it still didn't detect the theme. Is there a fix for this?
