Am I using the latest software? What would you do?
1) the firmware on my touchscreen is still the best/latest available since last year when i got it all working? https://github.com/Desuuuu/DGUS-reloaded version 1.0.2?

Best marlin firmware available.
Here you go. Use at your own risk. I will not maintain this firmware this is for your or anybody to use. This is bone stock without a bltouch/crtouch or any bed probe for that matter using marlins Ender 6 config examples for 2.1.2. the screen firmware is Reloaded for DWIN_SET TUID5 (Ender 6) screens. You can see the github at https://github.com/Desuuuu/DGUS-reloaded/releases

Ender 6. Issue with returning to stock firmware.
16 hours of research and i solve it. So, if you have same issue you need file which will erase the touchscreen onboard memory before the flashing process starts, I don't know why the same file in creality DWIN_SET don't do that, but it's fact. File name: T5UID1.CFG

E5P Upgrade to Marlin 2.1.2 and DGUS_Reloaded - touchscreen misbehaving
Anyways, I decided to just start over and try again. Pulled fresh Marlin 2.1.x repository and Desuuuu's DGUS repo as well - configured Marlin for DGUSLCD_UI_RELOADED, chased the GRID_MAX_POINTS* errors down, and uploaded it.

I did a thing :)
I'll reply to this with it once with the guide is complete. If you want to rush it, follow the instructions on here to flash a mandatory update to your stock LCD first - https://github.com/Desuuuu/DGUS-reloaded/wiki/Flashing-the-T5-GUI-and-OS-firmware

LCD NOT WORKING AFTER CUSTOM MARLIN
There is an option in the marlin called: ‘DGUS_LCD_UI_RELOADED’ which you should enable. And you need this firmware for the screen: https://github.com/Desuuuu/DGUS-reloaded/wiki

Tiny Machines firmware question marks … why? EEPROM reset after update. Z offset set. Ideas?
Marlin FW (precompiled binaries): github.com/Desuuuu/Marlin/releases DWIN Screen Files: github.com/Desuuuu/DGUS-reloaded/releases Screen Instructions: github.com/Desuuuu/DGUS-reloaded/wiki/Flashing-the-firmware There are also config files if you want to compile that fork of Marlin: github.com/Desuuuu/Marlin

CR10S V2 Pro over running X & Y Axis
If you complied the firmware, and are using the stock board, I suggest that you check your conifguration.h against one from a similar (or same printer) to make sure that the bed size and endstop configs are correctly set (for example this one for the Desuuuu firmware https://github.com/Desuuuu/Marlin/blob/master/Marlin/Configuration.h). It may be simpler though to just try a pre-compiled fw like Tinymachines (make sure you get the BL Touch version) if you are using the stock board.

Factory firmware source code
For people who don't want to replace the whole LCD screen, this fork should work with the stock screen. I haven't tested it myself though. You also need to flash firmware to the screen in addition to the board.

which firmware you use?
This year I started using an adapted version of the latest Marlin firmware (https://github.com/Desuuuu/Marlin). The touch screen works a lot better. I started printing and after a while still got the M999 error, carefully pulling the BLTouch probe somehow fixes this issue and I'm now able to use Simplify 3D, no idea if its related to slicer though since that doesn't make sense...
What are some alternatives?
Marlin - Optimized firmware for RepRap 3D printers based on the Arduino platform.
Marlin-Ender-5-Plus - Modified Marlin for Creality Ender 5 Plus (Released by Creality) for use with BTT hardware suite. Includes BLTouch offsets for popular hotend configurations.
