What's a really niche tool you use that you can't live without?
dar is the only tool I know of that supports incremental backups to untrusted remote storage. All the remote sees are giant encrypted blobs.
- Backing up a folder to multiple destination drives
-
Uploading encrypted zfs volume to cloud
DAR is a linux tool that does incremental updates after a snapshot: http://dar.linux.free.fr/
- MergerFS or some other way to manually cycle disks to backup? (11TB of data backup to multiple 1TB and 2TB disks)
- Is there a backup software solution that treats HDDs like tapes and writes to them in sequence as they're inserted?

Organizing a huge library
Also, something that comes pretty close to what I want to do is stash. However, it doesn't handle ebooks, and my library is not nsfw and shouldn't rely on an external database (as no external database for my field of interest exists afaik). But stash ticks almost all the requirements.

Video Catalogue Software
Stashapp - https://github.com/stashapp/stash
- Does Immich support facial recognition for videos? Building a database of people in all your videos and then search for certain ones?
- sin mentir cuantos gb tienen acaparados? yo 90gb y subiendo

Anyone using stashapp? Any easy youtube-dl integration...
I'm basically looking for https://github.com/stashapp/stash + https://github.com/alexta69/metube - basically you copy paste a pornhub link; it downloads a local copy and tags it away with everything from the original site.

Whats projects in your portfolio web development recruiters don't want to see ?
https://github.com/stashapp/stash - "a self-hosted webapp written in Go which organizes and serves your porn."
- Seagate's mass-produced HAMR hard drives to debut at 32TB, followed by 40TB

Software/Tool to review & cull multiple video clips simultaneously?
Stashapp, its meant for porn but it has a feature that would let you have a literal wall of videos playing at once. it doesn't play the entire length but you can set how many segments and how long per segment so like 20 segments of a video and each segment can be as long as you want like 10 seconds. https://stashapp.cc

Porn downloader and organisers?
I saw someone recommend Stash as a "Plex for porn" if that's what you're looking for. I don't know if it downloads stuff for you, though.

Adult movies scraper
Except for the bug in the latest version in which it doesn’t stay fullscreen when you switch between videos.
