Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Core-to-core latencies of the AMD EPYC Milan, 3rd gen
For AMD, if you have query access to the SMU coprocessor, you could use corefreq and ryzen_smu; they're for sensor readouts, and they do slightly different things. (And Zentimings and HWiNFO for windows.)

5600 or 5800x3d coming from 3600
Check the test here: https://github.com/xxEzri/Vermeer/blob/main/Guide.md It shows 5800x3d vs 5900x - especially ram OC is interesting where 5900x with OC ram comes closer to 5800x3d. WIth 5600x should be similar (yet it's slower CPU of course).

Cezanne, for it's smaller caches is more sensitive to RAM OC; and given that Cezanne can stay 1:1:1 when approaching 5000MT/s, it's a very good idea to run dual-rank or even single-rank for the frequency headroom. Consider this, but in the opposite direction.

More Ram Testing this time with Ryzen! I'm surprised how little Ryzen actually scales with RAM despite what everyone likes to always say. biggest jump here is 33.1% while the 8700K tested previously improved by up to 87.7% when comparing Peak OC vs JEDEC.
For your 5800X vs 8700K scaling, it makes sense; it's essentially the same story of what the 5800X3D did to memory scaling for the 5800X; 8700K has very little L3 compared to 5800X non-3D. CPUs with less cache available to a core will be far more sensitive to memory-array performance.

Expected performance increase for Ryzen 5 5600X
Also look at this to see the difference between jedec and tuned timings. It's basically impossible to give you a number for what kind of performance increase you should expect in your system but these gains you see just from some timings and single vs dual rank should give you an indicator that coming from 2400 14-16-16 you'll get a very big boost in games and workloads where ram matters
