There is a tool to add options to new context menu (or do it by regedit): context menu

Instead of replacing the context menu entirely, you can also use this app which lets you add your own items to the native menu. https://github.com/ikas-mc/ContextMenuForWindows11

You can use this program to add custom entries to you context menu. In your case, add one for each file association you want to edit with Paint.

ShareX [1] is my other "must install" app. I never would have guessed how much my branch of engineering consists of "take a screenshot and draw lines, arrows and circles on it." Being able to customize my workflow to do all of that is really great.
