Heavily biased (there are some features Chrome/Edge have that I really miss in Firefox, like "Copy link to highlight")

this extension "Link to text fragment" puts the "scroll down" thing unnecessary. It highlights the place you want to go and puts it in the middle of the page.chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/link-to-text-fragment
