I have 49 add-ons enabled, how can I switch between a different configuration of addons as needed ? (other than running a private window)
16. Content-Type Fixer 1.7.4.1 (Disabled) Override dumb Content-Type headers to fix download problems, and downloading forced by Content-Disposition: attachment. https://github.com/jscher2000/Content-Type-Fixer-extension

Firefox downloads PDFs to "Downloads" even though settings say "Always Ask"
My extension doesn't key off site, so it can't do that, but the source is available to anyone who wants to try it. https://github.com/jscher2000/Content-Type-Fixer-extension

25. Don't Accept image/webp 0.8.2 Strip image/webp from Accept: headers, which should discourage servers from replacing JPEG and PNG images with WebP images. https://github.com/jscher2000/dont-accept-webp
- Pain in the ass

What is the reason that we still cannot customize the GET requests that occurs when a new tab opens?
Add-ons can intercept requests and modify Accept headers globally (example) or based on parameters added to the URL (example) but I don't know how easily they can define new script methods that you could use in a page, if that is a requirement, or determine that it is the first GET request in a tab, if that is a requirement.

Why does Firefox do this? Can I prevent it? I never want to save images as .webp
