Big Sur on Acer Aspire A315-56-327T
I tried all of the layouts that are created for ALC255 and NONE of them worked properly (getting no sound from speakers and/or headphones, getting static noise from the headphones, or the sound not working properly after sleep, …) so I went on to create my own layout from scratch; got my codec-dump and its visual graph, noted audio nodes and possible node-mixer connections, compiled AppleALC after every change I made, and I did this process to get audio from any source for 9000 times. I can say that it wasn’t pleasant. At all. Even the layout I created specifically for this laptop still does not work properly, headset mic is still not working and I need ComboJack fix to get audio from headphones/headset after sleep. At least internal mics and headphones/headsets work now.

Headphones jack not working
I assume that your laptop has a combined jack, so you can try this. Or another one that I'm currently using is ALC Fix app, can't find its origin so I uploaded mine on Google Drive. Personally I prefer the second one because it just do its job in background, while the first one always ask you what did you plug in. Hope that will help you!

Thanks. I'm using this https://github.com/hackintosh-stuff/ComboJack with layout-id 5. Its made for ALC256/257 and we both have 256. However CleanMyMac reports this as CoinMiner, but that's the only solution that works for me.

Headphones jack not working
partially disable SIP to remove the need for kexts having to be signed (https://github.com/CorpNewt/BitmaskDecode, the command $hexswap and the guide will be your helper with that), put the kext into /Library/Extensions, repair its permissions (look online on how to do that), allow it in System Preferences -> Security & Privacy and simply reboot after all of that
What are some alternatives?
