My first github project: a HTPC stack to make self-hosting your home theater easy!
You'd probably prefer to look at something like Cloudbox then, which is a kind of Dockerized version of the same thing. Also pretty popular.

Trying to install autoscan from https://github.com/NiNiyas/autoscan and stuck with no idea what the problem is.
In the autoscan requirements.txt file urllib3 doesn't have any version pin so it should already be pulling in the latest version when you run the pip install command, but this is something you could double check. You could run the command:
-
Detect changes on supported Filesystems.
When it doesn’t work autoscan helps massively if you use sonarr/radarr!
-
Users of the Plex_Autoscan github project now that scan/refresh has been deprecated
Someone has already made a fork of it here
- Someone has made a fork of plex_autoscan which designed to work with Jellyfin/Emby
What are some alternatives?
swizzin - A simple, modular seedbox solution
awesome-jellyfin - A collection of awesome Jellyfin Plugins, Themes. Guides and Companion Software (Not affiliated with Jellyfin)
Saltbox - Ansible-based solution for rapidly deploying a Docker containerized cloud media server.
plex_autoscan - Script to assist sonarr/radarr with plex imports. Will only scan the folder that has been imported, instead of the whole library section.
