Using haskell code in xmobar
If none of this work you could try to set up a cabal project to compile it. Look here for my config: https://github.com/CantoroMC/dotfiles/tree/master/deploy/third-party/XMonad/xmobarbarian and also look at xmonad-testing which contains a template for a cabal project file that you can use for xmobar.

For the first one, I suggest having a look at this module. You can also have a look at my configuration, which shows how I personally use it in a dynamic dual monitor setup.

XMonad does not spawn XMobars dynamically at boot time
My problem is that, at boot, no bars are spawned, not even if I reload XMonad with mod-q. I can confirm that bars are not hidden somewhere, as ps aux | grep xmobar returns nothing at all. However, my code works correctly if I kill xmonad and restart it manually. Here is my configuration.
