Hi I am using this github repo's shcematics: https://github.com/markdhooper/CMD-dactyl-manuform/blob/master/schematics/Schematic_dactyl-manuform-5x7.png

Looking to build my first ergo split and trying to decide between ErgoDash. ErgoDox and Redox
I built a Zodiark with is basically a Soflie but with more keys (68 keys). It's pretty good but I would prefer more thumb keys and LEDs at the top of each key.) I would recommend a Dactyl Manuform. See https://dactyl.siskam.link/manuform and https://github.com/markdhooper/CMD-dactyl-manuform

Adding RGB strips to a dactyl manuform for RGB Lighting issues

First Ever Hand-Wired Build (Cmd Dactyl 5x7)
For the dactyl I used Mark's fork and followed his excellent guide for the Cmd. [CMD-dactyl-manuform:github] https://github.com/markdhooper/CMD-dactyl-manuform [CMD Guide] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxNKWNKBLMs&t=908s

Anniversary Present for my husband finished - Dactyl Manuform 5x7
Just when i finished the design i found this tutorial with these stl files and they are more detailed and have the mountingholes unvisible from the outside... so i think im starting my dactyl journey with his tutorial and dodge my own files.

Dactyl-Manuform right side issue
I see the line you're talking about. Didn't pay any attention to it till you pointed it out. I guess that I got confused when looking at the schematic that/guide that I've been following: Schematic

Home-row mods - will I get used to it?
I had trouble with HMR as well at the beginning, but since switching to sunaku's fork/PR I've almost eliminated all the issues I had with it. And worth mentioning is urob's timeless HMR config from which I think the fork/PR takes some of its inspiration.

Spring Cleaning/Codeing
Affirmative. I updated my fork and my clone last week. I also did a second, fresh clone and merged this PR: https://github.com/manna-harbour/qmk_firmware/pull/56

𝑥MK: Use programmable keyboard firmware with any keyboard.
I have a separate system for that as part of this old unreleased project. They're orthogonal so could be used together, but it'd be nicer if they were integrated. If you just want to remap buttons or map buttons to keys you can do that in the OS.

BATTLESHIP ERGO(but dumb?)
Well, things like Bilateral Combinations are aware of which hand is using the modifier to only apply it to the other side's presses & minimise accidental triggering on same-hand rolls.
