ONE thing though you could try. Also; no real experience with it - haven't had time to really test & balance things myself - but Karim has a new project in regards to enemy/raid AI. It should be close to official Steam WS release if I got the message right, but it's already in a rather stable state: https://github.com/kbatbouta/CAI-5000

It's not a bad idea on paper, but it does a pretty bad job on highly modded setups in praxis imho - I would rather suggest tackling enemy AI 'issues' differently, like using Karim's Combat AI overhaul: https://github.com/kbatbouta/CAI-5000

As far as I know, no, but you can try out CAI and see how it functions.

I killed the update in RimPy before it removed the mod for me. According to my most recent copy of CAI 5000, the last version from steam that I got was from this commit: https://github.com/kbatbouta/CAI-5000/archive/57f565d87486a4f4b55c33deaf8b1632717900a8.zip

There's also Performance Fish. It bugged my game, but worked fine for other players, so... dunno. Worth a check I guess.

I saw the post about underappreciated mods which I very much appreciated, but all the mods mentioned there were on the Steam Workshop which I regularly browse and generally feel like I got a good overview of. However, there are some nice mods that are not on Steam Workshop and that people might miss. Such as Performance Fish, which is a wonderful performance improving mod that improves many of the base game algorithms without affecting gameplay, and Save Our Ship 2, which technically has a Workshop entry but the 1.4 version is not available there. What are your recommended mods that are not available on Steam Workshop?

CSL would be wonderful but I hear it isn't exactly buddies with Biotech. Maybe FasterLoading and/or Performance-Fish, but these aren't my priorities in the feedback I'm looking for here.
