- Shutil Question
-
does anyone has an rsync script of enterprise quality?
Definitely agreed. Bash is great for system scripting but for something more advanced like this that mainly uses just one tool, especially since there’s already an rsync wrapper for Python. It shouldn’t take too long to make, even if you’ve never used Python. The syntax is extremely simple and there’s little to no boilerplate to worry about. Also will definitely be easier to update/refactor in the future.
