Windows Terminal Session Workflow

This is a demonstration of how I use the windows terminal command line arguments with the fuzzy finder tool fzf. I find this set up super convenient! Hopefully windows terminal gets better session support in the future. tmux command mode would be awesome but for now this will suffice.

yep. I rarely use more that 16G on my 32G machine. Usually around 8-10G. But then I tired to compile https://github.com/microsoft/terminal and I had to add swap for some reason.
Windows Terminal with Dracula
4 projects | dev.to | 1 Aug 2022
The Windows Terminal App was introduce by Microsoft in 2019 as the new terminal emulator replacing the Command Prompt, which dates back to the beginning of the NT kernel. With a new look, new features and now rivaling the functionality of the Linux terminal with the only place lacking is in the appearance department. The project is Open Source and hosted on GitHub. There are lots of tools to personalize the Windows Terminal Experience.
Neovim often freezes when pasting in Windows Terminal

I think the real reason why people think using the terminal is required on Linux is a direct result of the Linux terminal being so much better than the Windows terminal

The current version of the Windows terminal is not bad. And Powershell does have some advantages. The object-orientation, for example, I definitely see as an advantage.
nvim-osc52: copy text from remote SSH sessions with OSC52
6 projects | reddit.com/r/neovim | 25 Jul 2022
You mean you copy text outside of Neovim and you want to paste it with p inside Neovim with the help of the plugin? The plugin does not support that, because most terminal emulators also don't: letting apps read the clipboard whenever they want with OSC52 can be a security issue. For instance for windows terminal: https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/issues/9479.

Bonus tip: If you haven’t tried the new Windows Terminal with tabs and customizable themes, check it out from Microsoft’s official Github page or from the Windows Store. It supports Windows Command Prompt, PowerShell, WSL, Azure and Visual Studio command line APIs.

There's been talk about adding sixel support to windows term for a couple years. I went back to BSD as a daily driver as work on this issue started picking up, but it looks like progress is being made:
