how can i convert or open CGF files?
Not familiar with the CGF file format, but I was able to find this plugin from 2015 that might work (https://github.com/keyhom/io_scene_cgf) It's probably worth a shot. Just download the .zip (don't unpackage it) and go edit -> preferences -> install
