I have yet another crypto trading algorithm for you guys. This one is able to analyse how volatile every coin on Binance is and place a trade when during a strong bullish movement
Just an FYI, you have the Binance News Sentiment Bot linked here instead of the Binance Volatility Trading Bot. Anyone who knows their way around github will figure it out, but just wanted to let you know in case you want to edit your post.

What do you think of this script? As a python developer, it seems way too simplistic to actually work

- I have released a more powerful version of my crypto algorithm that places trades based on daily news sentiment, and it's all open source

I coded a Binance trading bot that analyses news sentiment and places trades
I had a lot of fun building this algo, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out! It's probably my most complex trading algorithm yet, and I'm happy to share it with this community because you reacted so nicely to my other projects!
Here's quick overview of what the bot does:
Pulls and analyzes the last headline from the top 100 crypto news sites
Provide an overview on the most mentioned coin across all the headlines
Analyse the sentiment of each headline and categorises the output by coin
Places a Buy order if the compound sentiment is positive and the a coin is mentioned in multiple headlines
It works with any cryptocurrency available on Binance
Here are some considerations that I am planning address in the future:
I accidentally used Feedspospot's top 100 Bitcoin feeds, so the sources are a bit biased right now
During my testing the compound sentiment wasn't high enough and wouldn't place a lot of trades
It can probably make use of multiprocessing to increase performance
Anyway, here is the GitHub repo for the source code: https://github.com/CyberPunkMetalHead/Binance-News-Sentiment-Bot
And if you want a step by step guide, I wrote one too:
https://www.cryptomaton.org/2021/04/17/how-to-code-a-binance-crypto-trading-bot-that-trades-based-on-daily-news-sentiment/
If you like the project and want to improve on it, feel free to send a pull Request on GitHub. Any ideas on how to further improve the recipe are also welcome!

Today month since myself alongside 5 other Redditors launched a cryptocurrency trading bot platform, after more than two years of work
So using the Binance Volatility Bot you could create a trading strategy that would scan ALL coins on an exchange, and buy any coin that gained more than say, 3% in the last 5 minutes. You could also test your strategy and figure out where this sweet spot is - what's the threshold at which price change and % gained signal a significant increase.
-
we just released and crypto trading bot platform that is capable of detecting surging coins along with many other features, here's how it works
The Binance Volatility Bot was thus born and people were quick to fork or configure and use their own. The bot would essentially allow you to scan all assets on Binance and Buy any asset that say gains more than 4% in the last 6 minutes. You could configure it to look for any level of volatility, and any timeframe, for ALL assets on the exchange.

This is it guys, we literally just released the trading bot platform that we've been working for more than two years
It's around this idea that the Binance Volatility Bot was born. It was a relatively simple trading bot that’s meant to help traders detect surging assets, ride the uptrend and sell at the top. It works by allowing the user to input several configuration options but the main ones are: Price Change and Timeframe.

We're Launching Our First SaaS Tomorrow
The project got a lot of attention on Reddit and GitHub, and a community was quickly created to improve and explore the tool.

I worked with 6 other redditors that I met on here on an algorithmic crypto trading platform for nearly 2 years, and we're actually releasing it in full next month
This started in March 2021 when I shared on Open Source trading algorithm that I had made, that was supposed to detect the most volatile coins on Binance and algorithmically place a trade. You could for instance tell it to do stuff like: "Buy any coin that gains more than 3% within 5 minutes". You would then be able to also give it a stop loss, take profit and a trailing stop loss. The post blew up a the time and a lot of people wanted to get involved with the project. The GitHub repository (ie source code) for the project quickly gained over 3000 stars and became one of the top repos on Gh at the time.
- How would you calculate a dynamic trailing stop loss / trailing take profit (in Python)?
- Spent a year and and a half building an algorithmic cryptocurrency trading platform, and we’re launching in closed beta tomorrow
-
Open source?
The project is not open source. Just like Cryptohopper, 3Commas and other algo trading software out there. It does have an opensource counterpart, that is available here: https://github.com/CyberPunkMetalHead/Binance-volatility-trading-bot
- Myself and 6 other redditors who all met on this sub are building an algorithmic crypto trading platform
