Applying new cursor themes not working
I'm running i3wm 4.22 on top of Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, I have installed lxappearance and want to change my cursor to Bibata. Bibata-Modern-Amber shows up in the lxappearance menu so it's installed correctly but when I hit apply I only get the cursor on empty desktop space. When I reset my instance of i3 (mod+shift+r) and that resets my cursor to the default (which appears to be a Mate variant). I have also done a sudo reboot and it leads to the same result.

Custom cursor issue in Linux
Hello, I'm using Firefox on Debian (with wayland). Today, I've changed my cursor to a custom cursor theme, but it caused errors in firefox: The cursors changes randomly of "type", sometimes it becomes another cursors family... It was extremely buggy. So I changed my settings to return to my default cursor, hoping that it would solve the problem, but it didn't. I searched on the internet , but I didn't find any solution. But i found that's a gdk error: when I run it in the terminal, it prints that:

Icons in search results not showing properly. No Google Drive installed
I found a fix.https://github.com/phuze/windows-10-missing-search-icons This fixed the problem. I used the python file and followed the solution here https://github.com/phuze/windows-10-missing-search-icons/issues/7. After the steps, I changed the text and image size to 125 and back to 100. Thank you!

Has this happened to anyone else? Lots of missing icons in the search results. Clearing IconCache.db doesn't work. How to solve this issue? It's happening on both my computers.
I tried everything mention here. The only thing that worked is the manual solution here: https://github.com/phuze/windows-10-missing-search-icons. The automated tool there didn't work for me (neither did uninstall Google Drive, changing scaling, deleting icon cache, or the registry trick)

Does anyone ever found out the fix for this that really works?
This is the article that helped me fix it https://github.com/phuze/windows-10-missing-search-icons

Any idea why windows store apps' icons show as paint3d in search and maybe a solution? I already rebuilt the thumbnail cache but it didn't work.
Do you have the most recent Google Drive for desktop installed (or the old Drive File Stream)? I've been dealing with this issue for two years now. Here's something that might work: https://github.com/phuze/windows-10-missing-search-icons - No permanent solution, sadly :/

Windows Search showing wrong icons.
I'm referring to Google Drive for desktop/Windows, aka Google Drive File Stream, that's installed by users or corps (https://support.google.com/a/answer/7491144.) To be specific, the rather well-known workaround for a frankly worse search icon issue that seems to be caused by how Google chose to make the icon overlays (https://github.com/phuze/windows-10-missing-search-icons) has exactly this effect, because it replaces common app icons, corrupted in the search cache, with those you show here.

Windows 10 Program Icons not Loading Correctly (Version 20H2)
Note. The Python script isn't useful without the toolkit folder. Here's the original GitHub link phuze/windows-10-missing-search-icons: Manual method for fixing missing Microsoft Store application icons when searching in Windows. (github.com)

Why are icons missing in the search bar? I am using Windows 10 20H2
I have found a fix (It says it is temporary, but the issue is not occurring to me again) which is to download these scripts. NOTE: you need to have python installed on your computer to run it.
