BetterDiscord VS BetterDiscordAddons

I personally don't have a problem with them killing third party apps. Does Instagram, Facebook, Imgur, Twitter, TikTok, Discord, etc., allow third party apps? I honestly have no idea, but I assume they don't? I know things like BetterDiscord exist, but those are breaking Discord's Terms of Service (although they apparently don't use any API). From Reddit's perspective, these apps are stealing users away from their official app and making money off of Reddit, all while actually costing Reddit money. It just doesn't make sense.

Betterdiscord:https://betterdiscord.app I edited the midnight theme to choose my colour scheme btw so you can't just find it on one of the themes on the themes page (I can send the colour code if you guys want).

im trying to use BD files from github but dont know how to put them in i normally use it from betterdiscord.app so if anyone can tell me how to do it i thank you

Better Discord et some documentation

Here is a link to a library with these themes. You can easily install one of them by simply installing the program Better Discord and choose one of the themes in the library to replace the standard grey tone.

i have the same problem, the steps didnt fix it. also bdfdb actually has some modal code for shc. devilbro removed it in this commit on github

The BetterDiscord Plugin "SplitLargeMessages" does exactly what you are trying to do, maybe the Github page of it will help you.

I'm using an edited version of https://github.com/mwittrien/BetterDiscordAddons/tree/master/Themes/BasicBackground with transparency and no background.

A few days ago /u/burgernipples1000 made a post showing off his Classic theme. I figured I'd use some of what he set up for my set up. The things you can see in these screenshots are set up with the Windowblinds skin by burgernipples1000 and the OldTitleBar Discord plugin (note: Discord needs to be patched to work with plugins. I'm using BetterDiscord but I've heard other solutions exist). On top of that I'm also running RetroBar and Open Shell with the ClassicC skin (forgot the source) but that's not in the screenshot.
